Islam makes up roughly 2-3% of the Spanish population. However, that population is not evenly spread across the country. Places like Castilla-la-Mancha have very few Muslims, <1%, whereas Catalonia has 6%.
Christians to Muslims are around 100 to 1.

Muhammad died in 633 C.E.; Islam arrived in Spain in 711 C.E., meaning 78 years passed.
