I would say very few, considering general Christianity teaches love, forgiveness and the rule of "Do unto others as you would have them do to you." Some exceptions to this are the KKK in America, who will often times twist Christianity very dramatically to fit their ideals.
It would definitely be far less than even one percent, I would think. So maybe out of the 2 billion or so Christians in the world, probably around 500-2000 scattered around the globe are extremist -- at most. That's just a guess, mind you.
But extremism can spring from absolutely any religion: religion has a huge way of dividing people, races, nations, cultures and the like. From division usually comes ignorance, from ignorance, prejudice, and from prejudice, extremism. There's never been a true solution to this problem, and there probably never will be.

STILL??? I think fundamentalist extremists are a fairly new development. Fundamentalists wouldn't feel any need to be extreme if everybody else agreed with them, and under the Pope, everybody agreed or died trying not to. Left alone, the middle east would be a much more peaceful place. Fundamentalists feel there is more at stake if they don't defend their beliefs. They feel it's a sin to not defend fundamentals like a 7 day creation (if we're talking about Christian fundamentalists), literal world-wide flood, etc. Moderates believe that arguing these finer points is the real sin if it alienates a potential brother.
You need have no fears. ISIS or any extremists will never take over the world. Many have tried, many which much more power and influence than they have, but none have or will ever succeed.
The question is underspecified. What is the percentage required relative to:Roman Catholics in the world?Total population of Rome?Christian population of Rome?
Not all Muslims are classified as extremists or terrorists, but some are. It is important to note that the majority of terrorism and mayhem in the world stems from Islamist/Muslim extremists.
The second largest Christian country in the world is Brazil, with a significant percentage of its population identifying as Christian, primarily Catholic.
