I am working on a 4th grade math sheet and it says the length of the brown familys living room is 15 feet.it is 13 feet wide.can you please help me find the area and perimeters.?

Well it would be 13 by 15 then, and these are the formulas: Area = length x width Perimeter = (length x 2) + (width x 2) So the area is 195, and the perimeter is 56.

Are all sqaures rectangle?

Actually, there is no such thing as a rectangle square. A square has 4 equal sides. On the other hand, a rectangle has 4 sides no matter what length. There are rectangle squares though. By: SupeRMAn P.S. SupeRMAn is just a user that is a 4th grade student in Temple City.

Are time and space both 3 d?

No. Space is 3 dimensions: Width, Length and Height. Time is the 4th dimension.

It does not appear to be so as it works out with 3 sides of the same length and the 4th side of a different length

What are 2 dimensions apart from length and width?

Length Width Depth/Hieght and the 4th dimention has been given to Time. ex. It was 3 feet long, 4 inches wide, was 9 inches tall, and was here 3 seconds ago. (or in a race "he's 4 seconds behind me")

What is a 4 dimensional figure?

There is no such thing as a 4 dimensional figure. Three dimensional objects are measured in length, width, and height. In physics the 4th dimension is used as time when discussing relativistic consequences. But how do you draw 'time'? If you do then you ignore at least one of the other dimension (length, width, or height) and use time in its place.

What is meant by fourth dimension in physics?

In physics the 4th dimension is time. So an object has 3 physical dimensions (height, width, length) but it also has a position in time.

If the perimeter is 280 ft what is rectangle with an area between 100 and 150 ft?

If been working on this for my daughters 4th grade homework for the last couple hours. I think the question is mistyped. It's impossible for that to work because for a rectangle to have a perimeter of 280ft it's area would be in the 1000's ft squared. Example: perimeter 140ft + 140ft + 20ft + 20 ft=280 ft Area 140ft * 20ft = 2800ft squared. I've tried so may other combinations without any success and don't think it's possible.
