the photic zone is the place where 90% of under water sea life lives. it also has the most sunlight. because it is the top of the layers of the ocean.
The photic zone of the ocean is the surface of the ocean that receives sunlight.
photic zone.
The epipelagic zone is the region in the ocean that is exposed to a sufficient enough amount of sunlight to allow photosynthesis to occur.
Photic Zone: part of the ocean that receives sunlight Aphotic Zone: area in an ocean where sunlight does not reach and photosynthesis does not occur
Photic zone
The photic zone where? The Atlantic Ocean has a photic zone, but so does the Pacific Ocean. Both have very different temperatures in their respective photic zones, and even variations within each ocean. The only thing we can say is that the temperature is higher than that of the aphotic zone.
photic zone and aphotic zone
the neritic zone, but also the intertidal zone, well part of that zone.
An example of the photic aone would be like a sea shore, coral reef, or sand bar. Although an example for an aphotic zone would be the depths of the ocean or the abyss.
That is the photic zone, or euphotice zone.
dolphins live in the pelagic zone (from shore to shore) and the Nerittic Zone (above continental shelf) and the photic zone (200m deep, where light penetrates) the are not found deeper than the photic zone
The Intertidal Zone, Coastal Zone, Open Ocean, Ocean Trench, Photic Zone, and Aphotic Zone. (i asked this question then found it in my textbook)
