To change the local account picture in Windows 8, open the Start screen and click on your user account name at the top right corner. From the dropdown menu, select "Change account picture." You can then choose a new picture from the available options or browse for an image on your computer. Once selected, the new picture will be applied automatically.
User name
Ok so what you want to do, is to first of all open up Photo Booth. Then drag the picture you want as your screen saver to the desktop. Then open up system preferences, then click Accounts, then it shows a picture of a icon or a previously selected pic. You then just simply change it. ( If you know how from there)
im in a class for that stuff and you have to have the picture selected to be able to get that toolbar. hope this helps
