Are there any tricks or possible problems in replacing a front bumper on a 1998 Honda Civic?
yes
All civic front bumpers from 1999-2000 are interchangeable, however the rear bumper of the Hatchback model differs from the rear bumper of the coupe and sedan.
The 1991 Honda Civic front bumper is secured by eight retaining bolts. Remove the retaining bolts. The bumper will come off.
You have to take out the bumper. Just take out the screws that are in the fender, take out the plastic cover that it is under the car that is attached to the bumper, take out the clips of the plastic grille with the Honda logo and pull the bumper. Don't apply to much force. When the bumper is out you will see the other bolts to remove the headlight.
The rear bumper on a Honda Civic is held on using several mounting screws. After remove each screw the bumper will be held on with mounting clips. The bumper can be gently pulled off.
I don't think so
yes it will every civic from 96 to 2000 will pretty much fit.
no it will not fit... cuz the holes where the bolt goes does not match....
