It is about a girl named Grace that gets attacked by wolves when she was younger. There was one wolf that she saw with yellow eyes and she becomes obsessed with him. When she is older she is still looking outside to see the wolf with the yellow eyes. At school there is a missing boy, thought to have been killed by wolves. The boys name is Jack. Isabelle (Jack's sister) wants grace to find out what is up with the wolves. Grace goes Into the Woods and finds her wolf with yellow eyes injured. The wolf with yellow eyes phases into a human. Fans of "Shiver" by Maggie Stiefvater may enjoy "The Wolves of Mercy Falls" series by the same author or "The Coldest Girl in Coldtown" by Holly Black, which also features a blend of romance and supernatural elements. Both series have a similar atmospheric and captivating feel to "Shiver."
