The Darkover Series is a chronological Science Fiction series about the beginning of a civilization on a new planet by earth pioneers who become lost in space. Itâ??s a popular science fiction series that was created in 1958 by Marion Zimmer Bradley. The series begins with a group of space colonists at the end of the 21st century when earth is visiting the stars. The crew lose their way and land on the unknown Darkover. With no way of leaving, they decide to set up their colony there.
