Earth Quake
Most dictionaries do not yet recognize Marsquake, but it is often used instead of "Martian earthquake", which does sound awkward. "Groundquake" might be used or just "quake".
i earth quake
The earthquake's hypocenter, is where the crust's rupture begins.*The epicenter of a quake is the point, on Earth's surface, associated with this hypocenter, which can be many kilometers inside the crust.
Concerning earthquakes, the Epicentre is the point on the land surface immediately above the focus of the quake. The Focus is the actual point within the Earth where the quake occurred.
The epicenter is the point on the earth's surface vertically above the focus of an earthquake. It is as close to the point of origin of the quake as you can get on the surface. The earthquake is strongest at that point.

The direction of the waves are measured at three or more points on the surface. You then draw lines in the direction those waves travel, and you usually get a point or small area called the epicenter, which is the point on the earth's crust where the quake originated underneath.
Earthquake is spelled as one word, with "earth" and "quake" combined.
The energy is produced at the hypocentre or core and propogates towards the crust of the earth. That surface point is known as epicentre. The max richter scale value for a earth quake is just more than 9. There is no limit to max value.
