"Mississippi Trial, 1955" by Chris Crowe is a point of view piece about a chance meeting that turns amateur investigation after a teenager is murdered. It uses the case of Emmitt Teal, a top racial case of the 50's as the backdrop for the story. The protagonist had met Till, who was about the same age as him, briefly and after Till's tortured body is found, he vows to get to root of the crime to find out who is responsible.
