Presumably a benefit to some humans of wheat ('wheat grass'??) lowering the natural acidity of the stomach is where that individual has, through some defect of his/her stomach Ph control, too high an acidity level in his/her stomach. Once again (in common with so many of the questions posed in Answers.com) the question assumes something which is not true. Or the question is just badly put (although thankfully in this instance it is at least English). I doubt whether eating even copious quantities of wheat will make anyone's whole body go alkaline. Alkali is a pretty strong deviation from Ph 7, which is probably what a normal body approximates to. chris137
