According to the US Census in April 2010, the population for Macon was 91,351.

The population of Macon, GA is 91,856. This consolidated city was named after North Carolina statesman Nathaniel Macon. The city originally was Fort Benjamin Hawkins which started to erect the fort in 1806 to protect the new land and act as a place of trading items and services with the Natives.
