I've spent too much time searching for a hat like this. Pork pie hats are available in felt but have, well, pizazz that the Foyle hat avoids. "Bucket" hats have a similar outline but are made only in canvas and other casual materials. In later episodes, Foyle wore a traditional felt fedora.
