Power window amp in the drivers side door. If you remove the door panel its a little black box toward the door latch with 8 wires coming out of it.
just an educated guess, but I would look at the wires where they go into the door, the wires are in the round rubber billows that goes from the door to the body,if not that maybe a loose wire inside the door, this would require door panel removal
The regulator is behind the front drivers side door panel. you will see a box connected to the wires.
You are going to have to take off all the interior door trim and panels. Those wires are the pow wires to you power door locks/power windows/power mirrors and other powered stuff and switches you have on that door. Getting the door off is and the new one on is usually a lot easier than getting the new door into just the right alignment.
On the power door locks I've seen many times a broken wire in the boot. the boot is the clump of wires at the hindge of the door in a rubber boot and the broken wire is usually in the front doors drivers side but can be in back. The other problem I've seen is someone put the door panel on and restricted the operations of the control rod.
The driver door does not unlock the power locks for a few reasons. This motor could be burned out or the wires could not be attached correctly.
More than likely what has happened is broken wires between the door and body. if you look at the wiring harness that goes from the drivers side door to the body, there is a rubber shield covering the wires, they are probally broken.
Check wires between door and door post by wiggling wires. They like to break there from opening and closeing the door.
there is no fuse. power goes straight through the wires. actuators are probaly dead
It is bolted on from the inside of the door.
in the hand part where you close the door theres a screw, take it off, pull the assembly from the top by the window switches, when it comes out the wires will follow, disconnect the harness, and replace with the new power switch. (note this is the drivers side)
A common cause is for there to be broken wires in the harness between the hinges to the door.A common cause is for there to be broken wires in the harness between the hinges to the door.
