Denying fair treatment to an individual simply means that a person is not being given the treatment that they are entitled to. A popular example is discrimination, however there are also things such as biased decisions and cheating people that fit the bill for this phrase.
The Bill of Rights protects our individual rights and freedoms by outlining specific rights that the government cannot infringe upon, such as freedom of speech, religion, and the right to a fair trial. These rights help ensure that individuals have the freedom to express themselves, practice their beliefs, and receive fair treatment under the law.
