A printer card is probably referring to a printer port card, also known as either an LPT port or parallel port card. This is an option card that can be placed inside a computer to interface with an older printer or other technology that requires an old-school parallel port. This type of port is a wide D-sub with 25 holes in it. The standard printer cable for this type of port has 25 pins on the computer end and a 36-pin Centronics plug on the other end which is held in by a couple of wire clasps. This was the first type of printer interface used on commonly available printers back 25-30 years ago. Since then, USB and network interfaces have replaced them and made them obsolete.
