The blower head is wearing out. Same thing happened to my Chevy. Cost $284 for new part.
Have to first remove all the light bulbs, then put in a fresh fuse, if it still blows, then you will have to follow all the wires to find the short. If the fuse does not blow, then the problem is with either the bulb or the socket.
An electrical short between the fuse and your fuel pump, I would replace the fuel pump first..
first thing to check is the fuse
i had same problem with my 2003 Taurus on my driver's door. I got a new power window switch for $40. you should check your fuses first.
If the fuse keeps blowing it has to be a short or the fuel pump dragging causing a large current demand. It can be shorted anywhere from the fuse box to and including the fuel pump internally. Try disconnecting the fuel pump and see if the fuse blows if so run a new wire (fused) to the pump, see if it blows. Start at one end of an electrical problem (Fuse) and go the the other end (Pump), then go to the middle if you have the right wire you can cut it in half and see if the fuse blows. You can get a self resetting fuse. If it gets impossible you can short the fuse connectors (wire or a large amp fuse) and look for smoke, it'll happen, but I would disconnect the fuel pump first.
First, remove the bulbs. Second, replace the fuse. If the fuse still blows it's a wiring problem. The fuse is doing it's job by not allowing the short to burn up the car.
No, check the connections, INCLUDING THE GROUND CONNECTION, first. If that isn't it, you'll need a new high horn.
"There she blows!
on every door panel there's a switch disconnect all the switches at the same time in stall new fuse and try to roll down 1 window at a time .each time reconnect a door switch and which ever one blows the fuse your problem is in the switch or the motor start with the switch first.
If the a/c is blowing hot air then first check the freon levels in the system... If the a/c system is full but shuts off while accelerating then check the power and ground going to the clutch coil and the pressures switches as well.... If the a/c has issues while accelerating then you need to check for a vacuum leak which is a very common problem with a lot of vehicles.........
Tudora is lying under a tree, an olive tree. The moutain breeze gently blows and breaks a twig off the olive tree. Tudora is awakened. She is very angry at the breeze that blows tirelessly. "Why are you blowing just now? I was dreaming my first love came, and brought me a small colorful bouquet. He brought me a small bouquet and on it was a gold ring.
While hooking up a battery make sure to connect the positive cable first, then the ground. If you have been doing it that way and you have a fuse that keeps blowing you have a problem in the circuitry after the fuse. Some short in the wiring or problem with a device is causing the fuse to blow ( thankfully ) rather than destroy something else or completely drain your battery.
