Could be a number of reasons, to include...
That's just a small list, and doesn't even begin to touch on the problems which can exist if your vehicle has ATC or SATC. I'd recommend you have a technician do a system performance test on your AC system.
if you've still have freon its old! and you must retrieve the old stuff before you put in the new! I think you can get to much in and freeze up. or your compresser is out!
Its probly your fan not working right check it out okay I seem to be having the same problem. If the fan does not turn on when you turn the AC on then I believe that it is electrical problem.
Probably needs freon.
there is no way for that to happen. nothing with the a/c connects to the exhust. no way for the compresser to shot freon into the motor and out the exhust. all of the toobing for the a/c is on the outside of the motor. the same with the a/c compresser. the only part that is in the car is the cooling unit that blows are into the car. are you smooking crack?
sounds like he bypassed the switch for the low refrigerant shutoff , check freon level
If its not an electrical problem and you can hear that the compresser has engaged, check the freon level. There should be a glass window somewhere on the line that will indicate the freon situation. Have Dave take a look and see if he sees movement or bubbles. If nothing, pour a beerski, drop 3 olives in, and enjoy. Then sell the car.
i would first start by checking the amount of freon the a/c compresser has, it would also be a good idea to flush and refill fill it since you've already gone this far.
I just replaced the freon in my air-conditioner but it still blows warm in my 02 toyota echco ...Is there a possible problem somehere?
It sounds like you have a freon leak and your A/C system is empty. The first click is the compresser clutch engaging to spin the compresser - the second click is when it disengages to keep the compresser from burning itself up due to no freon gas in the system.
Yes! Freon leaks out during the winter months!
Try chraging it with Freon. This is the most common problem.
It most likely means they aren't getting any pressure output. I would check the electrical connection to the compresser first and if there is power when the A/C switch is on then it means a problem with the compresser itself. If so, that would mean that the compresser needs to be replaced?
