Well, it depends on what kind of ozone you're talking about. Stratospheric ozone, which occurs several kilometers above earth's surface, absorbs UV radiation and protects us from the damage that would be caused to plants and animals (including humans) from light of those wavelengths, but we don't have to breathe it, so we reap only its benefits. However, the ozone formed in the troposphere, where we humans live, results from the photochemical oxidation of nitrogen oxides and volatile organic compounds. We breath the ozone here in the surface layer, and while it has the same chemical makeup as that in the stratosphere, it is a respiratory irritant to humans and animals and can cause damage to plants.
Nothing is wrong with ozone layer. There is problem with absence of ozone layer.
The ozone problem start with the use of CFC's. They react with ozone.
Ozone layer is a protective layer. The problem with it is its depletion.
The ozone problem was caused by human activities such as the release of chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) and other ozone-depleting substances into the atmosphere. These substances break down ozone in the stratosphere, leading to the formation of the ozone hole.
The ozone depletion is a worldwide problem. It is not the issue of one citizen.
The ozone problem start with the use of CFC's. They react with ozone.
Ozone is depleting. It is due to CFC's.
Poking holes in ozone layer is a problem. A hole in ozone would cause the ultraviolet radiations to enter the surface.
The ozone depletion is the loss of ozone. It allows harmful UV rays to pass through it.
Ozone disappearing is a problem as it allows UV rays to allow enter the earth. They are fatal for life on earth.
The main problem with ozone layer is the depletion. It is due to the reckless use of CFC's by humans.
The problem of ozone layer is worsening. It is due to many ODS working together.
