What is the problem with R rated movies?

the rating rarely provides enough warning of content for one. The rating usually is a red flag for explicit sexual objectification of women, intense violence, gore, gun totting, etc. Most of the movies that have been produced under this rating in the last 5 years have been doing poorly compared to Pg and G movies. Pg 13 has even been doing worse because its content has a tendency to venture more towards R content. it will get worse though
