what is the procedure for the cancellation of demand draft? what is the procedure for the cancellation of demand draft?
I have a further query that whether a Demand draft made at kota, rajasthan be cancelled at lucknow, up. If so what would be the charges on it?
Any demand draft/ bankers cheque is normally valid for a period of six months from the date of issue. However if the demand draft is presented after the validity period, the bank still pays it, so long as the bank still holds that amount in its custody, by simply updating the validity, and may be cashed any given time. It may charge a small sum if the amount is above a particular slab. So therefore for all practical purposes the DD or bankers cheque remains still valid, any given time so long as the bank holds the amount and is the custodian of the amount, on behalf of the payee.
From To Sub : Requisition for Cancellation of DD. I request you to kindly cancel the attached Demand draft bearing No : ______ purchased on _____ from your bank and charges if any shall be paid by cash. Thanking you, Yours faithfully, (Name) Encl : Original DD
YES there is agreta demand
I don't know, but it's on on - demand.
Lost: Contact the bank that issued the draft and submit a letter in writing stating the DD number and ask them to cancel the draft because it was lost. You may ask the bank to re-issue a fresh draft for which they will charge a fee. Expired: The only thing you can do is contact the person who gave you the draft and ask them for a new draft.

A Demand Draft can be cancelled by the person who took it provided it has not yet been encashed. You need to visit the bank branch where you took the draft and submit a request in writing, asking them to cancel the draft and refund the money. The bank will accept the request if the draft isn't encashed yet and then cancel the draft and refund the money. The bank may or may not charge you a fee for doing so.
no.
Six months unless stated otherwise.

This is how much the consumer will want the product at a certain price. The higher you price the item, the fewer people who will demand it.
