.Before this is started you need to know that you will need a large pop rivet gun to complete installation. REMOVAL. With the window in the up position, remove door trim panel and plastic water shield. Secure the glass in the half way up position with door stops wedged in between the window and door.Do not proceed til you are sure the weight of the glass is supported.Remove the rear guide channel nuts and and take the assembly out of the opening. Punch or drill out the center pinsof the rivets that secure the window regulator in place.Unplug the electrical connector. Move the regulator until it is disengaged from the guide channel and lift through the acces hole. If replacing the window motor, make sure to place a screw in the slot to lock the regulator before separating the motor from the regulator to prevent the spring from unwinding and causing injury. INSTALLATION. Place the regulator in position in the door and engage to the guide channel assembly. Secure the regulator to the door using 3/16 inch manuel aor 1/4 inch power rivots and the rivet tool. Plug in the electrical connector Tighten the channel nuts securely. Install the door trim panel
The 1995 Cadillac Eldorado drivers side door panel is held in place by eight retaining clips. Pry outward on each retaining clip. The door panel will come off. Remove the linkage from the power window motor. Remove the wiring harness from the power window motor. Remove the retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new power window motor.
You can remove the door panel. And there are 3 star bolts that hold the power window motor. Once you remove the motor you can remove gear cable from motor and pull up the window by hand. That is the only way I know of. I had two motorcables brake on me.
remove back seat, remove screws bottom and top of panel, remove panel. remove 3 bolts and motor arm, window and regulator will pull out.

Hi .. To change the power window motor .. Remove the door shell of course You will see the motor for the window .. Unplug the power of course . The motor is actually riveted in so you need to drill out the rivets. Remove the old unit . Then install the new motor with self tapping screws . Plug in the power . Be sure to secure the window when you remove the motor so it doesn't fall. I have not done this yet but am about to embark soon and have done some research . Good luck ..
Remove the wiring harness from the back of your 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass blower motor. Remove the blower motor retaining bolts. Remove the fan from the front of the blower motor. Reverse the process to install your new blower motor.
You need a 3/8 drill bit to drill-out the rivets and then replace the motor that way. It might be easier to replace the whole regulator.

Difficult procedure. If it has been determined that the motor itself needs replacement, unless you are extremely agile and mechanically inclined, recommend you take it to the dealer/repair shop.
SOMETIMES U can smack the inside door panel (very hard) with the OPEN palm of your hand approx.2 where the window motor is.OR take off the door panel & smack the motor with a RUBBER mallet. Sometimes you can remove the pwr. window switch and 'jumper' the contacts. Had a Grand Prix that was notorius for this, and this procedure kept me dry on many a wet day! Good-Luck!
