A slump
Water
It is a fault. :D
the process is called weathering when the rocks break down
The process by which a glacier loosens and moves rock is called glacial erosion. It occurs when the glacier's immense weight and movement cause it to pick up and carry rock fragments. As the glacier moves, these rocks scrape and grind against the underlying surface, gradually wearing it down and forming characteristic features like U-shaped valleys and striations on bedrock.
Weathering is the process of breaking down Earth's crust.
The earths crust is moved rather than pulled by things called convection currents. This is when heated rock from the earths core rises up and reaches the crust where it cools. It then sinks down again and carries on in a circle which moves the crust
Longshore Drift
erosion
percolation
Infiltration is the process of water moving vertically down through the soil.
The earth's crust moves and the crust moves up When you have something like the rifting of a continent, the lithosphere heats up and causes it to rise. sinking of craton edges can be caused by things like tectonic loading.
Peristalsis is the process that involuntarily makes it is possible to swallow water while standing on your head and moves food from your mouth down to your stomach. Peristalsis affects the muscles in the intestines also.
The oceanic crust is force down into the mantle in a process called subduction. The subducting oceanic plate will introduce water into the hot mantle, causing some of the rock to melt. The molten rock will rise through the overriding continental crust to form volcanoes.
new crust forms at divergint bounderies where plates move apart magma oozes up and cools down and creates new crust and the old crust moves away and sucks in the earth
Peristalsis is the term for the wavelike motions of the esophagus.
Below the Earth's is the Earth's mantle. The Earth's crust changes through plate tectonics, the constant process where subduction describes the Earth's crust moving down into the mantle and elsewhere upheaval brings material to the surface. The process is not really a simple cycle but part of the complex geological processes of an active planet.
