Dolphins have been known to use sponges, which are technically an animal, to help feed, so yes. Also, certain species of bird will steal young from other species and raise them as their own. However, no animal has ever trained another animal to help them hunt or dominated another animal into helping gather food.

IN ADDITION:Ants (although an insect) herd aphids to the sweetest parts of the plants and in return get a sweet liquid that they use as food. They care for them as they would their young and even protect them from the weather and predators.

Also Great Danes are known to be great pet keepers. They are the protectors of pets and are known to dicipline them by swatting them with their big heavy paws. Though that isn't always a good thing and can be dangerous.

Because some animals have diffrent instincts, perhaps like dogs, any type of dog is a relative of the wolf. Some wolves in some areas of the world have actually tolerated the presence of humans, just enough so that they could raise some of the pups. When the pups get older they adapt to human life and are often used for hunting themselves. Any dog no matter what breed was once a wild dog, and dogs have dividual characters, so that they are able to be domesticated, along with the common housecat.
