erosion
I don't think they are, deposition is the settling down of sediments that had been carried by erosion. Deposition is how deltas and alluvial fans are created. However erosion is the process of moving weathered sediments to a new location. So, a way deposition and erosion are similar is that they are in the same process. Weathering -> Erosion -> Deposition
The modification of geological features by natural processes.
Erosion. Over time moving water will pick of sediment and carry it to a new location thus creating a new landscape.
Igneous rocks are formed from molten lava being cooled down. Metamorphic rocks start as igneous rocks and change form. Sedimentary rocks form from layers in the earths crust.
Rocks are worn away through the process of weathering and erosion. Weathering is the breaking down of rocks into smaller pieces while erosion is what carries the rock to new places. Rocks can be worn away by water, ice, and wind. Examples of this are abrasion, ice wedging, and dissolution.
Gravity can roll rocks down hill. Water can move rocks in liquid form or as a snow avalanche.

Erosion is a wearing away process, which is what creates the sediment in the first place, but when sediment is laid down in a new location, that is not erosion, it's sedimentation.
The contact information of Soluhull College is 1-342-245-2343. The number sometimes changes due to process of new construction and moving the campus to a different location.
The part of the erosion process in which sediment is placed in a new location, or deposited.
