From what I have been told the condition also called failed back surgery condition is permanent. My doctors said it's symptoms can be controlled with different types of therapies but as of yet there is no cure.
One doctor told me of a group that is actually removing the problem scar tissue. Not all insurance is covered and they are in TX I think it is www.northamericanspine.com. There is medication therapy and also neurostimulation therapy if you are approved. Plus a host of injection therapy's all that need to be discussed with a good pain management doctor. Plus there are holistic therapies like acupuncture. And mental health therapy counseling and group therapy. This is based on my experience with the condition and what I have been told and learned on my own. It is not a medical diagnosis.
