I WAS CHARGED IN 06 FOR CONSPIRACY TO COMMIT BURGLARY. I WAS PREGNANT AT THE TIME SO I ONLY DONE 3 MONTHS IN JAIL FOR IT, BUT WHEN IT CAME DOWN TO BEING SENTENCED THE PROBATION OFFICE WHO DONE MY INVESTIGATION REPORT, TRIED MAXING ME OUT TO 10 YEARS IN PRISON. BUT LUCKILY THE JUDGE ORDERED ME TO 7 1/2 YEARS SUPERVISED PROBATION, WITH SOME CLASSES TO TAKE ALSO. I KNOW 7 1/2 YEARS SOUNDS FOREVER BUT COMPARED TO 10 YEARS IN PRISON ITS GREAT. THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME EVER BEING IN TROUBLE TOO. IVE BEEN ON PROBATION FOR A YEAR NOW, AND DON'T GET OFF TILL THE YEAR 2015. AND I LIVE IN SOUTHERN Indiana

The range of punishment is anywhere from two years to ten years probation for a first felony offender (if the jury wants to give probation, or if the state offers probation in a plea bargain up to two years to twenty years in prison. There is also burglary of a building and burglary of a vehicle which in Texas are lesser offenses.
