Halloween is an innocuous method of indoctrinating children into the spiritual world. They dress in costumes, get a 'safe scare', and meet ghosts and witches. They also learn to get 'treats' for threatening to 'trick' the homeowner. I believe that it was originally a Christian vigil event to herald the feast day of all the saints, which is November 1st.

∙ 10y agoThe celebration of Halloween varies based on different beliefs. Many believe Halloween celebrates the dead that have possible Pagan roots, especially Celtic Samhain. Others believe that Halloween originated independently of Samhain and has only Christian roots.
