The second reason of course is as an investment but even in purchasing a painting, sculpture or handcrafted jewelry, does it make sense to buy something that doesn't please you in some fashion? In my experience I always purchase signed and numbered prints that I find appealing to my eye and every piece has increased in value many times over.
