To be an astrophysicist/astronomer, you need to be good at math, physics, as well as having a good grasp on computer science. Some good colleges are Princeton, UNC, Harvard, Georgia Tech, UC Berkley, and some others. You probably want to get a Ph.D., and do some post doc. work too, before applying to any serious job.
