The quality of work being done at Just For Brakes has extremely bad reviews. Before you take your Jaguar to Just Brakes, read the following: www.consumeraffairs.com/automotive/just_brakes.html
I have a 2003 jeep liberty, i just got my rear brakes done. It cost me any where from 179.00 to 250.00. You can get it done cheaper, just dont let the brake place screw you over like they did to me.
Are the brakes right and is the e-brake not sticking?
This happened to our 2003 Vue. I had just had the brakes replaced and they had not done this properly, something to do with the 'calipers', so the car sounded like a bucket of bolts everytime I put on the brakes. Have them look at the rear brakes especially if you've just had them replaced.
no offense intended but you dont if you dont know how just have a mechanic do it, you dont want to have your brakes fail because you got air in the calipers, or if you ruin your abs unit believe me just have it done proffesionally
It shouldn't matter to you if your brakes are leaking if your car is already stopped where you want to leave it. Brakes are never used when your car is parked. Just put the car in park and you're done. If you have an automatic, just leave it in a gear.
Quality means how well something is done. Good quality means it's done well, to the best of someone's ability, and they put some work into it. Poor quality means they just did a half-arsed job and didn't really try
You can only adjust the rear " brakes " the front have disc. If you have never done this, find someone who can help. It's not that its a hard job, just have to know what u r doing with brakes.
The average cost for a brake job to be done on most automobiles and trucks, depends on what type of vehicle that you drive. A less expensive car front brakes can range between $40-150 for a truck $100-300 and back brakes are higher.
The blades spin, and then the main shaft, gear box, brakes, and high speed shaft rotate. This generates electricity.
I just had the front brakes 'done'. I called about 6 places, some named brand and some 'garage', and the average cost was about $130-$140. This includes new pads and resurfacing. Also realize my front brakes are disc brakes, my rear brakes are drum brakes. Drum brakes are about $50-$60 more. They broke it down to $60 parts $70 labor.
If no air got into the abs hcu then bleeding the brakes is done just as it would be on other vehicles. If air did get into the hcu or if you disconnected any brake like at the master cylinder or hcu then you will need to take it to a ford dealership to have them bleed the hcu and brakes for you.
Just got my front & rear brakes done with rotor resurfacing for $380 in Burbank, Ca.
