If you just drained the coolant from the radiator and not the engine or cooling system, radiators usually take 1.5-2.5qts. to fill. You fill it to the top, start the motor with the radiator cap off. turn the heater on high and select vent. slowly squeeze the upper radiator hose to remove the air. Let the vehicle run about 20 minutes with the front of the vehicle up slightly more than the rear (this will help any air to move to the radiator).when you don't have any more bubbles cap the radiator. BE CAREFUL! THE FLUID IS VERY HOT! Then fill the overfill container to the hot line, RINSE OFF SPILLED COOLANT WITH LOTS OF WATER and your done.
