The rarest of rare monkeys - hardly 250 are alive
These are a new breed of monkeys found in the jungles of the Himalaya mountains in Burma at altitudes of over 10,000 feet - there are hardly 250 of them alive and these have been classified as critically endangered by the UN. They are two feet tall with a tail that is even longer. These primates are black in colour with white beards, have upturned noses, and they sneeze when it rains. They were discovered by scientists of the Flora and Fauna International who were researching gibbons that exist in forests located at over 10,000 feet above sea level.
