Depends on the area you live in, the school you teach for and if it is a privet or public school. Public schools generally pay more than private schools. Also it usually doesn't matter if you teach high school or elementary it is all the same pay. Starting pay is around 25K - 35k depending where you go. Pay increases the more credits you take once you have your job and the longer you are there. I recommend you do not take more than a bachelors degree before you get a job because it will be harder to get hired. A school does not want to pay a huge salary for a inexperience teacher at first. Once you get hired however take as much credits as you want; the more you take the more you make.
