I think is energy produced by the reactor in a second...
India's first submarine was INS CHAKRA nd first nuclear submarine is INS ARIHANT..
Its "INS Arihant".
ins arihant
India's first indigenously designed nuclear submarine is known as the INS Arihant and is the lead ship of India's future Arihant-class nuclear submarine fleet. The symbolic launch of the vessel was held on July 26, 2009. The name "Arihant" means "Slayer of Enemies" in Sanskrit. It will feature an 83 megawatt pressurized light-water reactor fueled by enriched uranium. It will contain four vertical launch tubes capable of carrying twelve K-14 Sagarika or four K-4 nuclear-capable SLBMs.
INS- Arihant (first indigenous nuclear powered submarine),, INS- chakra (first nuclear submarine).
That would be the INS Arihant, -The Indian Navy's first nuclear submarine.
INS Arihant
India has been struggling to get a nuclear submarine in the water for some time. The technical challenges of "shrinking" a nuclear power plant to get one to fit on something the size of the submarine were daunting. On 26 July, 2009, India launched INS Arihant to gain them entry into the nuclear submarine club. That date might be the one asked about here, if something "exact" is being sought.
INS Arihant is the first of the new Indian Navy submarines. Two more of the same design are currently being built, to be launched in 2010 1nd 2011 repectively. There are plans to build another two to make five in total.

In brief, a nuclear reactor (as we know them), is a device which uses nuclear fission to generate energy that we can tap to do work. With the nuclear reactor, we use nuclear fuel (usually uranium or plutonium), and we arrange for a nuclear chain reaction to occur within the reactor. That reaction creates a lot of thermal energy (heat) through nuclear fission, and that thermal energy can be transferred into water to create steam. With a lot of steam, we can spin large steam turbines to turn generators to create electricity. There are other questions (with answers) here on WikiAnswers that explain in detail the ins and outs of nuclear reactors and nuclear fusion. Check the Related questions and use those links to investigate further. In an atomic energized power plant much like a fossil-filled force plant water is transformed into steam, which thusly drives turbine generators to create power. The distinction is the wellspring of warmth. At atomic force plants, the warmth to make the steam is made when uranium iotas split called splitting.
