If sodium chlorde is aqueous (in solution) and the sulphuric cid is dilute , there will hardly be any reaction. But if the sodium chloride is in solid form and the slphuric acid is concentrated, then a reaction takes place. The products are hydrogen chloride gas and sodium hydrogen sulphate. The hydrogen chloride gas is soluble in water, forming hdrochloric acid. The sodium hydrogen sulphate is an acidic salt and also known as Glauber's Salt.

Hope this helps.
