the climate changes are cause by trapping of solar heating by wind which causes changes in atmospheric conditions thus changing the climate of weather around us...
There are many factors that impact climate - change in solar radiation, change in atmospheric makeup, cloud cover (amount and location), how clouds interact in heating of the planet, particulates in the air (such as from a large volcanic erruption), and the list goes on and on.
People promoting the theory that man is causing large amounts of climate change are currently blaming the release of CO2 into the atmosphere (this would be a change in the atmospheric makeup). Their computer models make many assumptions about the other factors listed above, including equivalent increases of water in the atmosphere in the form of clouds, which they assume will cause heat to become "trapped" in the earth's atmosphere. Water increasing in the atmosphere in the form of clouds, and causing a positive feedback is highly debated right now, with all real-world evidencee and studies (I have seen, anyway) pointing to a negative feedback.
People saying humanity is not causing rampant climate change tend to say there are too many factors for us to determine for sure what is causing it. It is most likely a mix of many factors, with a few leading ones, such as increased solar activity (solar flares) leading to warming.
"climatic" of course. Changes in climate are known as climatic changes.
