Poultice: Chop fresh borage leaves and stems in sufficient quantity to cover the area being treated. Cover the herb with a strip of cotton gauze to hold the poultice in place.
Infusion: Make a tea with 2 oz. of fresh leaves, let steep for 10 minutes, drink 3 times a day. Borage oil: 100-300 mg. daily. Best to be supervised by medical practitioner.
Decoction for External Use: Steep the plant parts in boiling water for at least 10 minutes. Extract or salve: follow directions.
