The average recovery time for novasure is 24-48 hours as per the company's literature. I had the procedure 6 days ago and I am still recovering. Some other people that I have spoken with stated that it can take anywhere from 2 weeks to 3-4 months to recover. It is individual and varies from person to person. I am doing better than my friend and we had the procedure on the same day.
Yes, usually. NovaSure Endometrial Ablation is a one-time, 5-minute procedure that gently removes the lining of the uterus- the part that causes the bleeding. Patients who reported being satisfied with the NovaSure procedure ranged from 85.0% to 94.0%. according to the NIH.
There are women who have become pregnant after the NovaSure procedure, but it is more difficult to become pregnant. For the best information, it is always best to consult with your doctor.
The recovery time for plastic surgery procedures vary from procedure to procedure. The more invasive/extensive the procedure the longer the recovery time. Rhinoplasty recovery, for example, can take 2-4 weeks.
I read an article http://lubbockonline.com/stories/062107/lif_062107020.shtml that states $500 - $1200
I am now almost 48 hours into the recovery phase of the Novasure procedure. For the first 6 hours or so after the procedure, I experienced some cramping. Kind of similar to a bad period. My doctor prescribed me Vicodin, so they went away fairly quickly. Now, 48 hours later, Im not cramping at all, minimal drainage... light pink to clear, however, I am pretty bloated. They say that's normal at first though. My energy is also very low. I can be up and walking around for about 3 hours, but then find myself needing a 30 minute nap. Overall, excellent procedure. Little pain, and only in the first couple of hours. Very little drainage, if any at all. As of right now, DEFINITELY worth it. Im going to my son's football game in a couple of hours, and its only been 2 days.
Unfortunately I did ,few months after Novasure I developed symptoms of menopause ,hot flushes ,cold sweats ,mood swings .Menopause blood test showed FSH 73 and LH 37 .I am only 38 years old and before procedure I had regular but very long periods. Doctor is trying to convince me it was coincidence
what is the recovery time
The doctors decided to do an invasive procedure that would be painful and prolong my recovery time...
The entire procedure should take about an hour, not counting preparation and recovery time.
the procedure will take less than a hour you most likely will spend about another hour recovering
The procedure generally takes from 90 minutes to two hours to perform, but the preparation and recovery time add several hours to the overall procedure time.
"Typical knee liposuction recovery time is about a month, sometimes it can take longer. Knee liposuction is a very invasive procedure so it may take a long time for your body to recover."
