it depends on many variables, from what kind of shape you are in to where your lap is done. Is it for a rule out (exploritory) or i it to remove a fibroriod, organ or tumor? as the procedure cuts through muscle it can take a bit to get back to full range of activity, but usually within a few days you are feeling better and after a week pretty normal, and by two weeks or so close to normal. but it does depend on what is done.
I had my appendix out on my birthday:( I was instructed to return to work in two weeks, but asked for approval to come back in a week because I sit mostly and plus, I need the money! I thought I'd be okay, but we had a fire drill first period and I had to walk all the way to the parkinglot and stand for about twenty minutes. I've been in pain all day since then. Take my advice, if you can afford to rest for two weeks, do it!!!
The procedure usually takes about 30 to 45 minutes and the average healing time of a laproscopic surgery is about one week. After a week or so, you should be able to return to your normal activities. If complications occur, it may take an additional week or two to return to work.
Laparoscopic surgery is a modern surgical technique in which operations in the abdomen are performed through very small incisions. Laparoscopic surgery takes around 3-4 hours to perform. Patients are discharged home within 1-2 days, and can return to work within 10-14 days after surgery.
Laparoscopic gastric bypass surgery reduces the recovery time for most weight loss patients compared to more invasive weight loss surgery. Patients are generally up walking within 24 hours post surgery. The patient may be discharged from the hospital on the second day post operative, as soon as a tolerance to a liquid diet is noted along with the return of proper bowel function. The patient will return for a post surgery exam about 10 days post operatively. The drain may be removed at this exam if there are no apparent complications. Solid food may be introduced after about four weeks.
within three or four day we can recover. Nithya Bangalore
Most can return to work after about a week. You will not be able to do heavy lifting or physical activity for 4-6 weeks.

It should take ten days to recover from appendectomy operation.
as long as it takes to recover from your mom
If you received narcotics for pain or anti nausea meds, they slow down intestinal motility, causing severe bloating. Also, if you had laparoscopic surgery it can take several days for the co2, used to inflate the abdomen, to be absorbed.
long enough
how long does it take to heal after a pelvic surgeory
I am guessing it will take about 1-3 weeks to recover it deppending on size or form.
It will take a week to cover, a month to fully recover
It took then a long time
I just recently had an appendectomy a week and a half ago. Although I didn't have appendicitis. My appendix were wrapped up in my colon. They had to remove a piece of my colon. I am not sure if it will take me longer to recover but as of right now I am in pain but walking around. I stopped taking my pain pills two days ago because I had to return to school today. I am to the point where all I want to do is go home and crawl up in my bed. I am not sure if the pain is from the appendectomy or how extensive the surgery was. I was told it would take me about a month to fully recover. Hopefully it is soon! I need to get back to normal activities!
It took over ten years to recover after the Shaanxi earthquake
