That is the SRS (supplemental restraint system) warning light (the airbag light). See related question below for more info.
Possibly, if the alternator is driven by that belt and it is setting a voltage code.
I need to set the timing belt in my car for a Dodge Stratus 1998, that has a 2.5 motor V6.I do have the timing belt already on the car, but it not on the right setting. Please someone help me with this question about setting the timing belt.
Ouch. Usually not a good thing if the engine won't turn at all. You probably bent a valve or a piston.
If you have a belt driven blade set up either the belt has jammed the pulley because it is worn out or the belt is broken. It could also be that there is a problem with the pulley's, but this is rare. I agree that the belt is the most likely problem. But there may also be a problem with the cable or linkage that engages the belt. If your belt looks good then have someone try to engage them with the mower not running and see if everything looks like it is moving properly to stretch the belt and engage it. If this is a push mower then the spline on the blade or crankshaft is probably stripped.
it is the side airbags
If the light on its time to renew the timing belt (t-belt)
The passenger side seat belt light typically stays off if the seat is unoccupied or if the seat belt is not engaged. Most vehicles are designed to detect the presence of a passenger through weight sensors in the seat, which triggers the light when the seat is occupied but the seat belt is unbuckled. If the light remains off even when someone is seated, it could indicate a malfunction in the sensor system.
It is a warning that you or your passenger sitting in the front seat is not wearing a seat belt.
Yes. The Zetec dohc engine is a " free wheeling" engine. No damage will result from timing belt breakage. Just replace belt and your good. That should be done by someone familiar with setting up timing.
Orion
is when someone put a belt on a earthquake
If your timing belt light is on in your Toyota Land Cruiser then you need to take it to get serviced. The light could be warning you about a problem with the belt.
