Answer Both refer to an object that is in a cirular motion. Radial Acceleration is a velocity change of the object as it moves away from the center of rotation. Tangential Velocity is a change of velocity of the object as it moves in a line that is tangential to the circular path it is moving.

The differences between the these two is that linear scale shows the relation between the map distance and the ground distance. The nonlinear scale do not show the relation between the map distance and the ground distance.
Speed is scalar quantity and velocity is a vector - velocity has both speed AND direction (You might say that velocity is speed with an attitude!)
