∙ 13y agoTricky question. No. On a basic level, they are not. Life is when your heart is beating and you are'alive'. Death is when you perish and your heart ceases to beat. People theories that you relive your life again and again... for what, I do not know. Until you get your life right? Perfect? For punishment? Just 'cause that's what you do? Another theory talks about ending one and entering another. Not necessarily Reincarnation, but entering another universe, a different world. Some say you never die. However, I personally believe that they are different. What ever happens when you die isn't what happens when your alive. There is something after life... whether it's heaven, hell, reincarnation or you become a ghost... it's different. Hopes this helps :)
