The further from the delta, the finer the sediments deposited.
marine basin between India and Eurasia
Sediments produced from weathering and erosion are deposited in still environments, compacted by the weight of additional sediments and cemented by minerals that are present in the water that is being squeezed out between sediment particles.
Alluvium refers to clay, silt, sand, gravel, or similar detrital material deposited by running water. New alluvium are these sediments that are being deposited right now and older alluvium refers to sediments that were deposited a short while before the new alluvium. For example, a 500 years ago some sediments were deposited in a stream bed and last year more sediments were deposited in that same stream bed. The 500 year old sediment would be older alluvium and the 1 year old sediment would be the younger alluvium.
um Long-distance relationship?
scale
The relationship between the planet's SPEED and its distance from the Sun is given by Kepler's Third Law.From there, it is fairly easy to derive a relationship between the period of revolution, and the distance.
Everything
depositional contacts occur between rocks that formed when sediments were deposited on other sediments.fault contacts are usually shown as thick black lines on geologic maps
None whatsoever.
my sinep
Rivers transport eroded material from the land, to be deposited in the coastal system.
The scale of a map shows the relationship between the map distance and real world distance. The average scale is one eighty-thousandth of the actual size.
