There is NO god in Buddhism, despite what many people think you do not worship the Buddha. Buddha said the question of God was unimportant. You can argue about God until you die and still never know for sure, therefore focusing upon whether God exists or not is just a waste of time. He encouraged followers to focus upon achieving a state of Nirvana.
