If it's telling a child about it, here's how it should go.

Tell a child about the BAD of sex, and not the good.
  • At six, a child shouldn't even KNOW of sex. But since it's possibly an acccident, tell the child that sex is bad and you could get sick from it. Say it in a serious tone, but in small words that could help the child understand it better. Don't say, "Be involved in sexual intercourse and you could get HIVs and STDs and other deseases." Say it like, "If you have sex you could get sick and might die."

  • Tell them they could get in trouble with the LAW for being underaged and having sex. Once again, small words. No, "The age the US finds for being legal of having sex is 18, and you are 6. A MINOR. You could go to juvy and your life would be screwed up." Try, "Having sex at your age could get you in trouble with the police."

All I really know is convincing them that sex is BAD and let them find out when they're older and possibly more mature about sex.
