Answer Aerospace Engineering is an engineering degree that studies various aspects of airplane and rocket design. The student usually learns some electronics, propulsion, structures and materials, controls, dynamics and aerodynamics. He can usually select special projects of his interest. With this degree, the engineer can continue further study or get a job that relates to any field of aviation or space. I knew one Aerospace engineer who got a job with an Insurance Company who wanted someone with the diversity to know rate the insurability of any type of structure or vehicle.
