The restoring mechanism brings it back to the temperature. Batteries use feedback mechanisms and so do airplanes.
The restoring mechanism of the inner ear is primarily carried out by hair cells. These specialized cells in the cochlea convert sound vibrations into electrical signals that are then transmitted to the brain. If hair cells are damaged or destroyed, they are not able to regenerate, leading to permanent hearing loss.
Ear wax is there to line the skin that is present in the ear leading up to the ear drum. The wax keeps the skin supple and prevents the skin drying and cracking. Obviously, if the wax builds up too much, it could effect the hearing. If so, the ears can be medically syringed and excess wax removed, restoring hearing.
Medicine
The middle ear, outer ear, and inner ear are the three parts of the ear.

They are part of the mechanism that make you hear.
An ear thermometer should be placed carefully in an ear to measure the temperature. The temperature is then taken by an infrared mechanism in the thermometer.
The most visible part of the ear is called the outer ear wich sticks out where other people can see it.
Peripheral Hearing loss has to do with hearing loss in the peripheral auditory mechanism...that is, in the External Ear, Middle Ear, Cochlea, and VIIIth nerve.
EAR = Enterprise Archive (file extension, Sun J2EE)This section provides an analysis of the J2EE packaging mechanism, focusing on therelationships these components have within an Enterprise Application Archive (EAR) fileand the process involved in building EAR files.

The person would not have lost their ability to detect sound (that is located in the inner ear). However, the ear mechanism would no longer work as it should and the person would not be able to hear properly as the sound would not be transmitted to the inner ear.
By far the best example of a mechanism thataccomplishes that function is: the ear.
restoring force
An increase in blood sugar levels cause the release of the hormone insulin by the pancreas. Insulin then lowers this blood sugar level restoring it to original non-lethal blood glucose levels.
Exaggerating the stimulus is also seen as amplifying the stimulus. This is seen in outer ear hair cells. The mechanism you refer to is probably a positive feedback mechanism: more of the stimulus causes more of the stimulus. This is in contrast to a negative feedback mechanism, whereby more stimulus results in processes that strive to attenuate (lessen) that stimulus.
