Currently 75 percent of children aged 12 to 17 have a cell phone. There is no one right age to buy a child a cell phone and it is totally dependent on the child and the parent.
Yes, parents have the legal right to take away their child's phone at any age, including when the child is 14 years old.
I don't think there is a right age as long as you don't get the child one when they are 5 i don't think there is a right age. When they have after school activities or stay home by themselves then I think that's when they should get one.
It depends on the parent, if i were you i would teach your child responsiblity before you give him the phone, When you think he is responsible enough to use his/her phone. Give it to your child.
A mobile phone should be given to a child when is 11 or over!
you should get your child a cell phone at age ten.
Child
The age in which you think they are the most mature
I think eleven or twelve is a good age for a cell phone.
It depends on that child's maturity and daily activities. If that kid is taking a bus home or staying after school by themselves or just walking home, it's time to get a phone to communicate. If you still walk that child everywhere and rarely have them without adult supervision, it can hold off for a bit. Usually about the time when that child wants a phone is when they actually need it.
I think a child should defiantly have a cell phone by the time they are in secondary school. Ten or Eleven would be a good age...
I would say around the age of 14-16 would be the right age to get a phone. My younger sister's friend got her first phone when she was 7 she has gone through 13 phones! I am 13 and I believe you shouldn't get a phone until you are about 15. ~Bbproductionsya
