This is a matter of personal opinion and morals. Some people are okay with girls starting to wear make-up very young, seven years old. Others think make-up should wait until they become a teenager.
No matter when a girl starts to wear make-up, they have to be told that they are beautiful without it. Make-up used incorrectly and without any sort of limit or respect begins to have a negative impact on self-esteem. If you or your daughter/cousin/female relative is starting to want to wear make-up, make sure they are old enough to realize that they really don't need it.

gaurdian(s). If it helps for you to know, I started wearing makeup at about 12. I started wearing makeup because i was ready. I don't think you should wear makeup if your not ready and you don't have your gaurdian(s) permission. Therefore i don't think theres any exact/ proper age for a young girl to start wearing makeup :)

Im a girl. And yes, it would be okay to share your feelings with her, but do it in a nice way. You could say " you would look prettier without any makeup" . This may encourage her to stop wearing it. Hope I helped! ;)
